Welina mai, Throughout my life I’ve always been unknowingly surrounded by arts of healing.  My biggest influence came from my father.  He was a practitioner of Hawaiian healing and his essence is what guided me to pursue massage.  I received my formal training at Aloha Massage Academy and became a licensed massage therapist in 2008.  Although I’ve been trained in different styles of massage , Hawaiian Lomi Lomi is the style I’m most passionate about.  With Lomi, there’s a spiritual connection that I believe is the most important component in finding true peace and deeper healing.  My father taught me that as Hawaiian practitioners we never take the credit for helping others because we are guided by Akua (god or the higher power) and that is who or what brings healing so long as the receiver is willing to accept it.
